It is the last one remaining of the "public art" competition that took place in 1999, inspired by a similar event which had taken place in Zurich, Switzerland the year before. One day I made a trip to the Greek Town and the Ukrainian Village. It went fine ... but on my way back I was lost! YES lost in the city of Chicago ... which I think most people would laugh at! But it's true. I had no clue of where I was ... BUT I wasnt scared even for a minute. I just wanted to return back to the Union Station. Mind you the entire trip was covered on my foot ... Now that I think about it it's too stupid ... I never looked at the road-map, never stopped by to ask anyone ... just kept walking ... But here's some photos of the places I wandered ...

Seeing the soaring Sears Tower in the backdrop is such a relief!!! One can always get a relative sense of their own location. So just keeping Sears Tower in view I found the way back to the Greek Town. Seeing some Greek Town eating-joints I knew I was on the right path. I was tired and very thirsty, but had a train to catch! So I didnt stop anywhere ... and kept walking n walking till I got to the Union Station!
Now that I think of it - It was a Great trip!!!
